Thank you to all the volunteers who came out for our last Land Day at Yesah Farm! About 30 folks showed up to help transplant blueberry bushes and fruit trees and get them in the ground before winter. We dug holes with a very serious augur, mulched and watered. We shared a meal and deepened our communal roots, as these plants begin to take their own root in this special place.
This land project is not only just a garden to grow food, but a sanctuary for all. We hope you’ll join us next time as we continue to grow this community of life.
